Thestrals

S Tier1% roll

Race Reroll

Keep this if you roll it. Thestrals has the strongest overall package in the current list, but the 1% rate means chasing it can burn through rerolls fast.

Stellar Ambassador race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Stellar Ambassador

A Tier4% roll

Race Reroll

A safe keep for almost any build. Stellar Ambassador gives you damage and tempo without forcing you into one element, so it stays useful while you swap spells.

Ice Crystal race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Ice Crystal

A Tier5% roll

Race Reroll

Best when your build is already leaning into Ice spells. Ice Crystal is worth keeping for that route, but it loses some appeal if your strongest potions are outside Ice.

Fiendish Demon race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Fiendish Demon

A Tier5% roll

Race Reroll

Best when Fire is part of your main damage plan. Fiendish Demon can hit hard in the right setup, but the HP tradeoff makes it less comfortable as a blind keep.

Werewolf race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Werewolf

B Tier10% roll

Race Reroll

A solid early keep if you do not want to gamble more rerolls yet. Werewolf gives enough comfort stats to feel better than Human while you wait for a stronger hit.

Death Eater race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Death Eater

B Tier10% roll

Race Reroll

A strong everyday roll for farming. Death Eater is easy to justify keeping because its value shows up in normal fights, not only in one specific elemental setup.

Undead race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Undead

B Tier10% roll

Race Reroll

A risky pick with a real panic button. Undead can save a bad fight, but the health penalty makes regular farming feel rougher than it should.

Tree Spirit race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Tree Spirit

C Tier15% roll

Race Reroll

Fine as a temporary roll when you are still short on rerolls. Tree Spirit helps with sustain, then falls off once you need faster clearing or cleaner movement.

Elf race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Elf

C Tier15% roll

Race Reroll

Good for moving around the map, weak as a long-term combat pick. Elf feels nice early, but you usually reroll it once damage starts mattering more.

Human race icon in Wizard Alchemy

Human

D Tier25% roll

Default (starting race)

The race you start with, and the one you are trying to move past. Human is useful as a baseline, but almost any real combat roll is an upgrade.

How Wizard Alchemy races work

Wizard Alchemy races are rolled through Race Rerolls, except the default starting race. The current race table covers 10 races and the drop rates add up to 100%, which makes the data suitable for probability checks in the reroll calculator.

Races can change combat through direct stats, elemental damage, movement, HP, skill speed or a special effect. This page separates drop rate, perks and special effects so the ranking is easier to compare.

Race reroll priorities

Best target: Thestrals is the S-tier race with a 1% roll chance and the strongest overall perk package.

Practical upgrades: Thestrals, Stellar Ambassador, Werewolf, Death Eater all have Attack Power in their perk list, so they are useful candidates when you want immediate farming value.

Starting point: Human is the default race and has no stat bonuses, which makes any useful combat race a meaningful upgrade.

What to check before rerolling

Drop rate

Lower drop rates usually mean better upside, but they also mean more missed rerolls. Use the calculator for rare targets.

Perk fit

Attack Power and elemental damage help combat, while speed and HP bonuses change farming comfort and survival.

Tier notes

Tier notes stay visible in the table when a race needs extra context for reroll decisions.
